Gail Ann O'Grady is an American actor and producer who has worked in the television industry from the age of 58. Donna Abandando, in ABC's police drama NYPD Blue; and Helen Pryor, in NBC's drama American Dreams are among her best-known roles. O'Grady is also known for her leading roles in numerous television shows. She's been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award three times. O'Grady was married six times. She applied for a protective order in the year 1995 after she broke up with Robert Claypool, an artist. Gail said that he had harassed her but didn't get a restraining order.
