Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz, who was born within Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter after her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Her half-siblings are younger, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County, California, when she was just seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder read a lot due to the absence of television. Ryder began to take acting classes in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 at the age of twelve years old. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 young. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actress would bring about change. Unfortunately that didn't come to be. However, she was determined to pursue her goals. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big breakthrough. Ryder was a star in various films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her part as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
